Pros and cons of Stellarium Mobile Sky Map app for iPhone and iPad

Stellarium Mobile Sky Map app good for

Hi. Thanks for your great app. I am using it for 3 or 4 years. But i cant use it well on my iPhone 7 plus! Its slow and have lags. Please Optimize this great app for 7 plus. thank you.
The app was recommended during observatory visit. Worth every penny.
I love using Stellarium on my laptop and desktop but needed something portable to take into the field for visual astronomy with my Goto mount for alignment. Im happy to say that this mobile version is AMAZING and takes much of the core functionality of the larger application and fits it neatly onto my iOS7 ipad2. Feels like a serious astronomers program with a large database of celestial objects and less like a gimmick which is what Ive found with some of the other offerings. Highly recommended, especially if you are a fan of the desktop version. Hasnt crashed yet.
Features work very well, very similar experience now to the desktop version. Love the time control now... Much better. Thanks!
I couldnt be more thrilled than to find Stellarium for Apple mobile devices. Its one of the last few reasons I hold onto an old PC that I hardly ever use. And besides being happy with having it on Apple, now its also mobile. Love it. Fantastic. Been using Stellarium for years and now I have it in my pocket.
Finally on iPhone. Needs correction of searching mech. Other bug fixes are necessary: - settings save - time identification Could be grate to have major visible close planetoids on track

Some bad moments

The GPS feature in this app is broken. It no longer recognizes the direction in which the phone is pointed. So disappointing to purchase this app and then have it not working after only a few months. :(
" Sensors Control " still doesnt work on the newest iPod touch 6, iOS 9.3.4; App is almost useless, and it is at least 7th month you are aware of this crucial problem. Please, do something about it finally! :(
11 pm used app to find the milkyway But realized that i saw the moon in the wrong spot in the app because the moon was actually behind me not where the app was showing. Sooo i dont know if the milky way is in the right spot either... No way to contact the stellarium company And yes my gps location was all on/updated
I used the app a couple nights ago and everything seemed as it should be. But tonight I was trying to look back at that night on the app and its not the same as what it showed then. In fact it was way off. I started setting the date back one day at a time until the moonset was at the right time and the date was 3 days off. Second problem is finding a city. THERE IS NO WAY TO SEARCH FOR A CITY. If you are trying to find a city, first you have to scroll through a list of every country in the world. So the US takes a while to get to. THEN it shows a scroll list of every city it has in that country. So scroll, scroll, scroll (looking for Sedona - the city list doesnt list a state). First time I got half way there and touched just off the list and it went away. But it didnt start where I left off. Oh no. I had to start over again only to find Sedona is not on the list. Can someone tell me in what universe does this make sense???
You cant compare this with the PC version. The PC version its really great, but this is... nothing. Wasnt worth the money.
very bad in comparison to the pc version, much less functions, only in English, iPhone sensors not working, preferences are not saved etc. ...
